Job Description:

Engage in product engineering efforts at Directi and work with world class dev teams to develop game-changing, globally distributed, Web 2.0 products used by millions worldwide.

These products involve myriad technologies, diverse platforms, complex algorithms and the latest application paradigms such as Ajax, SOA, RIA etc and are deployed across hundreds of servers, process terabytes of traffic, and serve millions of users.

Involved in the entire lifecycle of a project, including strategy, vision, design, UX, coding, architecture, deployment etc, and will be chiefly expected to deliver clean, testable and well-designed code for the same.

Desired Profile:

• 3-5 years of experience
• Good oral/written communication skills in English
• Excellent grasp/understanding of OOPs
• General experience in designing and using RDBMs
• Experience in implementing MVC frameworks
• Basic Unix/Linux commands knowledge
• Strong HTTP and Session handling concepts
• Strong Internet Concepts knowledge
• Basic Networking knowledge
• Strong knowledge and working experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Experience in using SCM tools like CVS, SVN etc and using issue-tracking tools like JIRA/Mantis etc
• Experience using and extending CMS (Drupal, Joomla or equivalent)
• Exposure to Javascript libraries (jQuery, Prototype/Scriptaculous or equivalent)
