Database Administration: Job description
- DBA needs to have minimum of 4 Years experience & Sr DBA minimum 7 years in MySQL database administration
- Position would be responsible for managing large, highly scaled dev, QA, production MySQL database
- Knowledge & experience in a high-volume/critical production database
- Collaborate with developers and architects to create high-performance, cost-effective designs
- Experience with open source ETL packages and methods for large scale data migration
- Replication experience, managing replication delay, scaling replication throughput and designing resilient systems
- Configuration: tuning InnoDB, managing memory usage, and tuning file systems for maximum throughput
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Customer focus attitude
- This position requires the system administrators to be part of an OnCall rotation
- As a member of an Technology Operations group; odd hours working may be required on need basis

Qualifications:
• 5+ years in design, development and hosting of web applications in PHP.
• He /She should be willing ready to do coding and will guide other developer. He /She should have strong analytical, logical and reasoning skills
• Should have implemented minimum 2 end to end projects
• Should have exposure to design and architecture of web applications. Should have good knowledge of PHP frameworks like Zend .
• Should have good knowledge on database design and selection
• Should have knowledge of at least one AJAX framework like jQuery, DOJO, Yahoo UI
• Should have knowledge of Hosting application and configured server
• He /She should be keen to learn new technologies and implement same in projects.
• Should be able to work with minimum guidance and a self starter.
• Will be responsible for mentoring of junior developers.

Job Description:
1) To lead a team of PHP programmers in executing web application projects in PHP
2) To carry out R&D of new tools / methodologies / frameworks in PHP
3) To contribute to product development
4) To assist the Project Lead with process enablement / enhancements.
