The Developer will be responsible designing, developing and supporting scalable, efficient, and high volume web applications geared toward Digital Asset Management. The Developer will be responsible for reviewing product specifications, creating appropriate database schemas in MySQL, and design appropriate APIs in PHP. The engineer will work closely with product and engineering management to satisfy user interface requirements, and work with QA to design tests and walkthroughs.

To be considered for this position candidates must have

# 3+ years of PHP / LAMP (Linux, PHP 5.0, Apache, mySQL) development experience with design / architecture of scalable, high-performance multi-tier web and infrastructure applications.

# Experience building Web Services (e.g. SOAP, REST, XML) to deliver functional applications

# jQuery, XML, Javascript, Html, CSS

# MVC, OOP and Zend Framework

# SVN

# MySQL usage, schema design

# Doctrine ORM model

# Experience with Scrum/Agile development.

# Detailed knowledge of Unix and Windows systems, NFS, shell scripting, daemons, cron jobs, and system requirements for high traffic, fault tolerant, 24×7 websites, supporting a service-oriented architecture.
