Currently we have an Urgent opening for System Analyst / Technical Lead (My SQL DBA)with a CMM Level 5 Co. (one of our clients) based at Bangalore.

Job Requirement -

Total Experience- 4-6 years
Relevant Exp in My SQL DBA —- 3- 4 years

Educational Qualification: BE/ BSC/ MSC/BCA/MCA

** Candidate should have secured minimum of 50% across Diploma/Graduation, 12th and 10th

Job Description:

Monitoring and administration of Mysql 5.0 Databases using MySql Enterprise.
Replication set ups and administration – Backup and retention policy implementation.
Database export/import, restoration and recovery
Setup and configure DRBD on the Servers. – SQL scripting.
Exposure to PhpAdmin and MySql Admin utility for monitoring and administrating.
Database Patch Application – Managing Database Jobs, parameter tuning.
Troubleshooting database related issues.
SQL Query Optimization, Rebuilding of Indexes – Analyzing/Validating Database segments – Collaborates w/ data modelers and facilitate interaction between DBAs and data modelers for logical and physical data models.
Shell Scripting and automating the backup process – Willing to work in 24/7 shift.
