Job Description:
We are looking for a software engineer as a Team Leader/Sr. Software Engineer for our PHP and Web Development team.

Responsibilities:
* Design, implementation, and modification of departmental web tools
* Deployment and maintenance of web sites on a LAMP stack.
* Client training and support for API integration
* SQL /MySQL experience
* Developing feature enhancements and fixing defects with the existing product.
* Working with the development team on making a good product better.
* Ensuring quality of work through development and implementation of QA procedures and standards
* Documenting systems, applications and methodologies.

Requirements:
* 3+ years solid experience with object-oriented PHP.
* 3+ Experience with SQL (MySQL and Oracle preferred).
* 3+ Experience with CSS.
* 3+ years experience working on commercial PHP websites
* Strong knowledge of Frameworks
* Very Good Experience with Object Oriented Programming
* Familiar with UNIX command line.
* Ability to read and understand existing systems (in HTML, javascript and PHP), and to develop new systems.
* Independent problem solving skills, ability to write code that scales well.
* Familiarity with a wide range of relevant technologies and web standards.
* Teamwork is an important part of Nor1 and the candidate must work well with small teams.
* Flexible: We are small company, but we move quickly.

Strong pluses:
* Experience with SVN
* Experieence with Blackberry, iPhone, Facebook, and Google Apps applications
* Zend, CakePHP, CodeIgniter or Symfony
* Experience with ASP.NET, C#, and other Microsoft Technologies
* Javascript Frameworks (Mootools, JQuery)
* Knowledge of Apache web server
* Previous CMS development experience
* Experience developing scalable web applications for high-volume sites.
